So there's a lot of stuff going on lately. I guess I'll start with the smaller stuff. And work my way up to the big stuff. ;D

I've been driving around my new car since May, and I love it. It's a blue 2001 Saturn SL1. Drives awesome. Makes me happy inside.

I've been getting way more into photography lately. Hopefully within the next year, I'll be making the move to digital. I hope. But regardless, I decided to make a separate account for my photography. If you actually like my photography and want to check it out, I would appreciate it.

The next piece of news is all new to you guys. It starts with me saying I've been dating someone for a while. Since the end of June, actually. :]

Her name is Andi, and she is just plain awesome. Amazing. Everything about her is great. She's beautiful, funny, never boring, and owns my soul. She has an awesome taste in music, she kicks ass at art, even though she never thinks so, and she can always put a smile on my face. I love her so much, even if she doubts it from time to time. I can't imagine life without her.

With that, I have a little story to tell you.

It all started with us going to the Coheed and Cambria show in D.C. at the 9:30 Club. The opening shows were cool, but as soon as the band before Coheed exited the stage, it got really ramped really fast. The whole crowd was squishing us forward and Andi was having a hard time breathing. When they finally came out, she lasted a few songs then had to get out of there...so she left me up front as she went to get some air. She tells me later she went outside and almost cried because she thought she had ruined my night, so she was upset beyond belief.

Then Coheed started playing "The Crowing". This is like, our song. Our favorite song by Coheed. It's her ringtone for me on her phone, even. So I run back to find her, all the way from the front. She sees me, and pretty much meets me halfway, in the middle of the entire concert. I hug her, then give her a heart-shaped locket, which she opens to find a piece of paper with the lyrics "I'd rather be working for a paycheck than waiting to win the lottery" written on them. She looks at me confused.

Then I get down on one knee (which caused her to freak out all wide-eyed and such) and asked her to marry me.

That's right folks. I'm engaged.

So, as far as we have planned, the wedding is going to be November 1st, 2008. Day of the Dead themed. Andi's a freak of that stuff. And I just flat out like the fall.

For once in a great while, I'm really happy.
